On-Airport Economy Parking Lot Fully Open After Re-Construction

After five months of construction, the Dayton International Airport (DAY) entirely opened the new and improved $4.95/day on-airport Economy Parking Lot for passengers. The updates to the Economy Lot includes over 2,700 spaces, 42 Handicapped spaces, 7 Shuttle Bus Shelters. Shuttle Buses run every 4-6 minutes making on-airport parking close and convenient.

“The Airport is proud of these improvements,” said Terry Slaybaugh, director of Dayton International Airport. “The updated Economy Lot with convenient, affordable, and safe parking adds tremendous value and convenience to visitors.”

In addition to lot resurfacing, improvements include repainted Shuttle Bus Shelters and will soon feature new graphics for easy identification. New security cameras and Blue Call Boxes are in the final stage of installation.  Weather permitting, landscaping will be completed with the planting of the last trees in October.

The on-airport Parking Loyalty Program, DAYperks, gives members the maximum benefits of the new parking improvements. The free loyalty program grants members access to the designated entry and exit lanes and earn them points redeemable for free parking. All on-airport parkers can reserve covered parking spaces in the garage by visiting flydayton.com and clicking on the Reserved Parking icon.  More information on the DAYperks program can be found at DAYperks.com.
